Dangerous Goods Vehicle Licence - South Australia

Description

You may need this licence if you intend to transport dangerous goods by vehicle in a receptacle with either:

  • a capacity of more than 500 litres
  • a capacity of more than 500 kilograms.

If dangerous goods are being transported by a combination vehicle, each unit requires a licence if transporting a licensable amount.

  • the tank must be an approved tank
  • the vehicle complies with chapters 4.4 and 6.9 of the ADG code.
