Description

You will need this permit if you are an apprentice jockey and intend to ride a racehorse at any race meeting.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible for this permit, you must:

satisfy the relevant agency that you are competent to ride racehorses
be over 16 years of age
have the requisite qualifications, training and experience required by the relevant agency
be medically fit to carry out the roles, duties and responsibilities required to ride in races
be a fit and proper person.
