To be eligible for this approval you must be a Registered Training Organisation.
Training courses must be recognised by the Independent Gambling Authority.
You must ensure that all trainers have:
- attained competency in the nationally accredited Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- attained competency in the courses of training you will provide
- at least 3 years of experience in a role involving the provision of responsible gambling products, hospitality industry, commercial gambling operations
- understanding and awareness of literature on gambling, problem gambling, addictions and addiction-like behaviour and interventions with problems gamblers.
