You will need this approval if you intend to become a drinking water auditor or inspector. Drinking water auditors and inspectors test and examine drinking water supplies for the purpose of water safety.
There are three levels of auditor/inspector classification:
- level 1 - audit or inspection of drinking water supplies
- level 2 - any audit or inspection, excluding large drinking water supplies (>50,000 population)
- level 3 - inspection of water carters, small drinking water supplies of rainwater or borewater, APY homelands and on-suppliers from other providers.
