You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to produce or transport meat or meat products for human consumption human consumption excluding:
- poultry
- kangaroos or other game in the field
- rabbits
- ratite birds.
This standard harmonises standards for the production and transportation within Australia of meat and meat products regardless of whether the meat or meat products are for domestic use or for export.
