Authority to prescribe certain S4 drugs (Regulation 19) - South Australia

Description

This authority allows the holder to prescribe for human use certain drugs for a particular patient for a particular disease. Its issue is restricted to registered Medical Practitioners.

The drugs that are prescribed under this regulation include those that are teratogenic or are highly likely to cause birth defects or where the patient requires specialist care to manage the drug treatment.
