Blaster's Licence - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to conduct a blasting operation. Blasting operations are an operation or part of an operation consisting of the use of blasting explosives conducted in the course of mining operations.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • hold a National Police Clearance Certificate that is less than 3 months old
  • have the necessary qualifications, experience and knowledge in the use of explosives.

Blaster's licences are only issued to individuals. Body corporates are not eligible to apply for a blasters licence.
