You will need this registration if you intend to be a contestant in a professional or public boxing or martial arts event. Boxing is the sport or practice of fighting with fists. Martial arts include kickboxing or any sporting activity (other than boxing) organised so that contestants engage in a fight principally by inflicting blows on each other.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
Contestants in a professional or public boxing or martial arts event are required to be registered for a medical examination and certificate of fitness.

The application needs to be lodged no more than 14 days after gaining your Certificate of Fitness (refer to the date your medical practitioner has signed and dated the Certificate).
You will need to provide certified photo identity and a Certificate of Fitness (page 7 of medical examination form).
