You will need this permit to provide entertainment in a public place. Activities which require this permit include:

Your activity must be for the apparent purpose of entertaining others or for receiving money.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

You may need to keep a public liability insurance policy for a minimum sum of $10 million.
