You must be registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia if you intend to practise and use the protected title as a Chinese medicine practitioner. Registered practitioners provide services in the divisions of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese herbal dispensing, depending on their qualifications and experience.
There are four types of registration offered to practitioners:
- general
- limited (for teaching / research)
- non-practising
- student.
