Commercial Filming and Photography Permit - South Australia


You will need this permit to undertake commercial filming or photography in a national park or reserve. Filming or photography is commercial if it is undertaken for financial gain and / or to promote a product or service.

You will be authorised under this permit to undertake a one-off commercial filming or photography project in a national park or reserve, including a marine park.

You will need a separate permit to film or photograph in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park or Lake Gairdner National Park.

You will need a separate permit to fly a drone in a national park, reserve, or marine park restricted access zone.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit, you must have public liability insurance of at least $10 million.
