Encroachment Consent - City of Adelaide Council - South Australia

Description

You will need this consent if your building or structure encroaches on public land. Encroachment refers to buildings or structures being erected or installed under, over or on Council-controlled land. Examples of structures which may encroach on council land include:

  • verandahs
  • balconies
  • awnings
  • pergolas
  • signs
  • covered ways
  • footings.

This consent does not refer to encroachment upon private property.
