Exploration Licence for Petroleum (Offshore) - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to explore for petroleum in the area within three nautical miles of the territorial sea. Applications for permits within state waters can only be made in response to an invitation for a permit over vacant acreage through the acreage release process.

You will need a production licence if you intend to produce petroleum and a pipeline licence if you intend to convey petroleum.
