You will need to notify your council if you intend to operate a food business. A food business is any business or activity that sells food or handles any type of food for sale (except for some primary food production activities). This includes a business of a commercial, charitable, or community nature.
If your business operates multiple food premises, you will need to provide a separate notification form for each site.
