Fuel Retailer Registration - South Australia

Description

The South Australian Fuel Pricing Information Scheme commenced in 2021, which was established for the dissemination of real time fuel pricing by fuel retailers, via numerous mobile phone fuel applications. The details of the Scheme are set out in the Fair Trading (Fuel Pricing Information) Regulations 2021 (SA).

If you are a fuel retailer, who supplies fuel for retail sale, you must register with the South Australian Fuel Pricing Information Scheme.

Once registered, fuel retailers must report the following within 30 minutes of their occurrence:

  • a fuel price change
  • a fuel type is unavailable.
