Description

You will need a gaming machine entitlement for each gaming machine you own and operate at your gaming venue.

You may only apply for, purchase or sell a gaming machine entitlement during an approved trading round, or by agreement with the holder of the special club licence.

Transfer

A gaming machine entitlement may be transferred.

Additional information

Gaming machine entitlements can only be purchased, sold or moved between gaming venues in three ways:

  • through the approved trading system / during a trading round
  • under a contractual agreement with the holder of the special club licence (Club One)
  • under an arrangement between licensed non-profit associations.

The price of a gaming machine entitlement or entitlements is calculated each trading round according to:

  • how many offers have been submitted
  • the maximum price purchasers are willing to pay
  • the minimum price sellers are willing to receive
  • whether entitlements are being sold by a profit organisation or a non-profit association
  • that one in every four entitlements sold during a trading round will be either be taken out of circulation and cancelled or transferred to the holder of the special club licence (Club One).
