You will need to issue this certificate if you are a gas fitter and intend to conduct gas work including the installation of gas pipes, appliances, flueing, or ventilation. A certificate of compliance must be issued to the customer within 30 days of completing any gas fitting work.
A gas fitting certificate of compliance provides evidence:
- that you are appropriately licensed
- that your work has been completed safely and complies with the necessary regulations, rules and standards
- of the extent and nature of your completed gas fitting work.
