Description

You are required to comply with this code if you have health and safety duties in relation to hazardous manual tasks. A hazardous manual task is any task where you engage in a process that puts your body at risk of suffering an injury. Duty holders who have a role in managing the risks of hazardous manual tasks include:

  • persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs)
  • designers, manufacturers, importers, suppliers and installers of plant, substances or structures
  • officers
  • workers
  • other persons at the workplace.
