You may need to comply with this code if you conduct a business that involves the handling and controlling of asbestos or have a duty to manage the risks of handling and controlling asbestos.

This code provides practical guidance on how to manage risks associated with asbestos, asbestos containing material (ACM) and asbestos-contaminated dust or debris (ACD) in the workplace. Following the code will minimise the incidence of asbestos-related diseases such as mesothelioma, asbestosis and lung cancer.
