Kangaroo Field Processor (Kangaroo Harvester) Permit - South Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to harvest kangaroos. Kangaroos can only be harvested by holders of a class 13 (harvesting on one only property) or class 14 (general harvesting) Permit. Permits are quota-based and are issued for the harvesting of specific species in certain commercial harvest management regions.

This permit allows the holder to use the carcasses of the kangaroos that have been harvested or to sell the said carcasses to a registered kangaroo meat processor.
