Description

You will need this licence if you intend to acquire and use Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate as a fertiliser.

Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate is defined as ammonium nitrate, or any ammonium nitrate mixture containing greater than 45 percent ammonium nitrate. Liquid fertilisers containing ammonium nitrate are not regulated.

To be eligible for this licence, you and any person who will supervise or manage any authorised activities must:

  • be 18 or older
  • be a fit and proper person
  • hold a current National Police Certificate
  • have a genuine reason for carrying out the intended activities.

You will need to nominate yourself as an authorised person if you intend to have unsupervised access to Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate.
