This licence entitles the holder to operate an X-ray machine. Applicants may be required to sit an exam on radiation protection.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
Licences are restricted to persons who hold a qualification prescribed by the regulations, or have appropriate knowledge of the principles and practices of radiation protection to carry on the activities permitted under the conditions of the licence.
