Liquor Licensing General Code of Practice - South Australia


You will need to comply with this code if you intend to sell or supply liquor for consumption or operate a licensed premises in South Australia. The code provides mandatory guidelines for the safe and responsible service and consumption of liquor at licensed premises.

The code requires you to undertake a risk assessment of the operational practices of your licensed premises and implement reasonable steps to ensure compliance with the code. These steps must be contained in a written management plan.

It is a condition of every licence that the licensee comply with the code.
