Major Hazard Facility Licence and Notification - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you operate a facility that has been determined by the agency to be a major hazard site. Major hazard sites are facilities that store, handle and process large quantities of hazardous materials such as oil refineries, chemical plants or large fuel and chemical storage areas.

Please be aware that you must notify the agency if you have, or are likely to have, any chemical in excess of 10% of the threshold quantities set out in Schedule 15 of the Regulations.
