Description

You will need this licence if you intend to manufacture Scheduled 2, 3 or 7 poisons. Manufacture means produce, pack, or repack.

The substances permitted to be manufactured, produced or packed are specified on the licence.

This licence also permits you to sell the poisons you manufacture by wholesale.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must be supervised by a person who is one of the following:

  • a registered medical practitioner
  • a registered pharmacist
  • holds a degree in science, with a major in chemistry, conferred by a university
  • a Fellow or Associate of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute
  • holds a diploma in chemistry
  • approved by agency.
