You will need this exemption or permit to undertake an activity that would otherwise be prohibited. Prohibited activities include:
- possessing or controlling a noxious species
- possessing or controlling a protected species
- releasing aquatic resources
- miscellaneous research fishing.
Ministerial exemptions or permits will only be issued where the Minister is satisfied that there is a good reason for the proposed activity.
