Native Seed/Plant Collection Permit - South Australia


A permit to take native plants or seed is required on any reserve, wilderness protection area or zone, forest reserve, any other Crown land or land reserved for or dedicated to public purposes, such as roadside reserves or local government reserves. A permit is not required on private land, however the consent of the landowner must be obtained.
Collection is not permitted within any National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Park or Reserve.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.


Permits expire on 30 June annually.


2019-2020 fees:
$100 Application fee for Commercial Permit.
