Offshore Mineral Mining Licence - South Australia


Persons or companies wishing to explore and recover minerals in coastal waters must obtain a Mining Licence.

Coastal waters are the first three nautical miles of the territorial sea from the baseline (the low water mark). A Mining Licence is granted over a particular area (constituted by blocks).
