Packaged Liquor Sales Licence - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence to sell liquor:

  • for takeaway from your licensed premises
  • through a direct sales transaction such as online and mail orders
  • for sampling on your licensed premises.

Operators of licensed premises must only conduct business specified by the licence. Licensed premises must be physically separate from other commercial premises unless a public interest exemption is granted, such as for a general store in a regional area.

There is an optional addition to this licence for consent to host prescribed entertainment at your venue. You do not need an exemption to sell goods in the same premises if they are normally associated with the sale of liquor, such as glasses and cheeses.
