Permission to Obstruct Streets and Footways - City of Salisbury - South Australia


Persons undertaking activities which will obstruct a street or footpath must seek permission prior to commencing the activity. Permission is required for activities such as the erection of ladders, hoardings or scaffolding over a footpath or road, placing of industrial waste bins, the unloading of goods or placing of articles on streets. A fee may be required upon application. It is not permissible to park on a footpath or council verge under the Australian Road Rules Section 197.
