Permit to Destroy Flocking Birds by Trapping and Carbon Dioxide Narcosis - South Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to control and destroy flocking birds of any category of species (including unprotected) by carbon dioxide narcosis.

Only an accredited operator may undertake the trapping and carbon dioxide narcosis of flocking birds. You must be an accredited operator or nominate a person who is accredited to conduct the destruction.

You must comply with permit conditions and the relevant code of practice.

You need a separate permit to destroy any protected animal.

You must complete a daily trapping and reporting form and a permit return, and submit these within 14 days of the permit expiry.
