Permit to Interfere with a Heritage Object - South Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to interfere with a heritage object. This includes to damage, dispose of or destroy either:

  • a geological, palaeontological or speleological specimen removed from a State Heritage Place
  • an archaeological artefact removed from a State Heritage Place designated as a place of archaeological significance.

Permit holders must provide the agency with a report of any work carried out under the permit within 2 months of its expiry. The number and location of all specimens or artefacts must also be supplied to the agency following any works.
