You will need a permit to train, an owner-trainer's permit or trainer's licence if you intend to train racehorses.

A trainer is a person who trains racehorses for, or in expectation of, a fee or a reward. A racehorse means a thoroughbred racehorse and refers to a mare, filly, entire, colt, rig or gelding.
