Pest Management Technician's Licence - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to use pesticides in carrying out pest control work.

You will be granted a limited or full licence according to your qualifications. Limited technicians are required to work under the direct supervision of a full technician until they satisfy the requirements to work under indirect supervision.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for a full licence you must:

  • have the appropriate qualifications
  • be medically fit to perform pest control work
  • be a fit and proper person to hold the licence.

To be eligible for a limited licence you must:

  • be employed by a pest controller to work under supervision
  • give an undertaking that you will, as soon as practicable after the licence is granted, commence training to obtain the appropriate qualifications
  • be medically fit to perform pest control work
  • be a fit and proper person to hold the licence.
