Registration as a Veterinary Surgeon - South Australia

Description

You will need this registration if you practice as a veterinary surgeon or veterinary specialist, or carry out any acts of veterinary treatment.

Veterinary treatment includes:

  • the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease, injury or condition in an animal
  • the administration of anaesthetic to an animal
  • the castration or spaying of an animal
  • the carrying out of a prescribed artificial breeding procedure on an animal
  • any other activity outlined in the relevant regulations.
