Persons operating a business which involves a kennel at which dogs are bred, boarded or trained or at which security or other services involving dogs are provided may apply to have the business registered.
Upon registration, all dogs over the age of 3 months, which are trained or bred at the kennel or used in connection with the business, shall be taken to be registered whilst they remain at the kennel or are used in the business.
If the business is not registered, each dog must be individually registered. Applicants must first apply for Development Approval to ensure that the business is a permitted use of the land.
