A sealed radioactive source is any radioactive substance bonded or sealed in such a way that minimises the possibility of dispersion of that radioactive substance while allowing the emission of ionising radiation for use as required.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
