Rock Lobster Fishery Licence: Northern and Southern Zone - South Australia

Description

No new licences are being issued by the Department. Northern Zone and Southern Zone licences are only available by transfer from an existing licence holder. Individual transferable quotas apply in both zones.

Rock Lobster fishery licences are issued for the term of the management plan. The current management plan for the Southern Zone is effective to 2018, and the management plan for the Northern Zone is effective to 2019. Rock Lobster licence holders may also harvest marine scalefish as endorsed on their licence.

Northern zone Rock Lobster fishery licence holders are required to have an operation vessel monitoring system (VMS) fitted to their boat.
