Companies in the business of selling second-hand vehicles must hold a licence under the Second-hand Vehicle Dealers Act 1995.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
A company is entitled to be licensed as a dealer if:
The company must engage a natural person to manage and supervise its affairs who is also a licensed dealer.
