Security Agents Licence - South Australia

Description

Businesses and their employees must hold a security agent's licence when undertaking:

  • crowd or venue control work
  • installing and maintaining security systems
  • guarding property or people
  • security systems sales and advice.

If you will be training people to be licensed agents, you must add security agent trainer to your licence application.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, applicants must:

  • have the relevant knowledge and experience
  • complete a personal information declaration if one hasn't been provided for another current licence
  • not have been charged with, or convicted of a criminal offence (other than a minor traffic offence)
  • have at least $10,000 in net assets if they are a sole trader, partner in a business or a company.
