Description

You will need this accreditation if you intend to undertake site contamination audits. Site contamination audits determine the contamination status of land and the suitability of land for its current or proposed use.

Site contamination auditors are required to carry out their duties in strict accordance with the legislation and relevant regulations. Applications can only be made during an open accreditation period.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to gain site contamination accreditation, you must:

  • be a fit and proper person
  • have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • have at least 8 years of experience in the assessment and remediation of site contamination industry
  • satisfy any other eligibility requirement set out in the regulations.
