Site Use Approval - South Australia

Description

You will need this approval to use water from a prescribed area. For example, you will need this approval to carry out any type of irrigation along the SA Murray River.

The following areas will need this approval:

  • River Murray prescribed watercourse
  • Far North prescribed wells area.

Unless there is a condition on the water allocation, the water can be used for any purpose as along as you have a Site Use Approval that covers that use. For example, Class 3 entitlement allocations can be used for irrigation, domestic, industrial or recreational uses, provided the approval covers these purposes.
