Street Trader's Licence - South Australia

A street trader's licence is required to operate a food van on streets. Vehicles used for the sale of food must be inspected by the Environmental Health Officer under the Food Act 2001. The food vans must not remain stationary at any time and need to trade with a quick point of sale. Ice-cream vans are generally the only vans that successfully apply for street traders permits. An annual fee is required for a street traders permit.

To sell or display anything for sale, set up stands, stalls, tables or displays, sing, chant or play a musical instrument you may need permission from the City of Salisbury and/or Salisbury Town Centre Association.
