Transport of Explosives by Road Licence - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to transport the prescribed quantity of explosives by road.

The prescribed quantity is:

  • a quantity of gunpowder exceeding 15kg
  • a quantity of any other explosive exceeding 3kg.

This licence is required for all explosives, besides those classified as Class 1.3 G, 1.4G or 1.4S explosives (e.g. party poppers, Christmas crackers or safety fuse).
