Description

You will need this permit if you intend to provide wildlife management and control services on an ongoing basis. Permitted activities include relocating and destroying protected animals identified in the permit by reference to their species or class.

You will need to consult with the agency to gain authorisation for any ongoing wildlife management and control service for other species.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • maintain public liability insurance to cover any risks associated with activities authorised under the permit
  • be vaccinated if you intend to handle dangerous animals, or animals that constitute a biological hazard, under the permit
  • hold a first aid certificate for the duration of your permit if you intend to handle dangerous or biologically hazardous animals under the permit.
