A Company which carries on an insurance business in South Australia in relation to risks situated in South Australia must be registered. This requirement also applies to Life insurance business irrespective of where the risk is located.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
There is no fee to register.
