Prescribed Class 12 Permit (Emu Farming) - South Australia

Description

The activity of emu farming covers the incubation of eggs, breeding of emus for commercial purposes and providing emus for sale or slaughter. It does not permit catching from the wild. Applicants must comply with the code of management for farming, have specified fencing and be a member of an approved association. An inspection is required of each site prior to approval of a permit.
