You will need to this approval if you intend to destroy, remove or interfere with any device, trap, bait, sign or equipment or poison that is laid or used on any land for by an authorised biosecurity officer for a legislatively authorised purpose. Authorised purposes include:
- to assess, prevent, eliminate, minimise, control or manage any biosecurity risk or biosecurity impact, or suspected biosecurity risk or biosecurity impact
- to investigate, monitor and enforce compliance with biosecurity regulation.
