AS 1674 Safety in Welding and Allied Processes - Fire Precautions - Tasmania

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to undertake hot work in a building or hot work that could affect a building. Hot work includes welding and other allied processes.

This standard specifies precautions to be taken prior to and during hot work, to prevent the possibility of fire or explosion, which may result in harm to persons or property. In particular, such precautions apply to hot work during manufacturing, construction, maintenance, repairs, demolition and where plant or equipment has contained flammable, combustible or explosive material.

This standard may be amended from time to time.
