AS 3814 Industrial and Commercial Gas-fired Appliances - Tasmania

Description

You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to design, construct and operate Type B gas appliances. Type B appliances include second-hand appliances that have a gas consumption rating in excess of 10 megajoules per hour.

This standard provides the minimum requirements for the design, construction and safe operation of Type B appliances that are intended for use with the following types of gas:

  • town gas
  • natural gas
  • simulated natural gas
  • liquefied petroleum gas
  • tempered liquefied petroleum gas
  • any combination of these gases together or with other fuels.
